Excused and Unexcused Absences

In the event a student will be absent from school, the parent/guardian is to contact the Attendance Office in person, by email: southattendance@asdk12.org, or by telephone at 907-566-5600. Absences can also be reported via Q/ParentConnect and should be excused within 24 hours of the absence. Absences that have not been excused within 3 days will remain unexcused.
